here is a quick look on a rather nice lock from Mul -t-lock
Its a cylinder which casn be use to open with a remote ,a smart phone and finger prints plus codes.
All is needed is to change the cyilnder

Do these have mechanical override in case of failure?
This is the problem with electronic locks, they are never 100% reliable like a mechanical lock.
